Somewhere Between Us follows two ambitious young Irish women as they leave the comfort of Ireland to pursue their dreams in New York City. The childhood best friends find themselves swept into a vibrant and diverse group of young dreamers, each chasing purpose, connection, and reinvention. The pull from home remains, as the two friends lean on each other, trying to keep their mental demons at bay until the realities of love, ambition, and the pain of mental illness begin to pull at the seams of the life they have built. Forcing the close circle of international friends to confront what it truly means to know someone, to break, and to begin again.

Somewhere between Us explores the raw and real nature of Human connection and the best and worst of the human condition. It provokes the questions of ‘What kind of loving relationships can young people hope to cobble together in turbulent circumstances ?’ and ‘What is the true meaning of home ?’ Somewhere between us is currently in Pre-production and is set to film in New York City and County Kerry, Ireland, starting September 2025.
