What’s your number?

Shae and Misneach leave the life they know in Ireland for New York City, where they meet six colourful strangers who share their big dreams and blind hopes, until the city forces them to face the terrifying freedom of starting over, and the things they never said out loud.

The excitement of youth and new adventures blossoms in the city but the pull from home remains. The group of friends lean on each other,  when the realities of life and pain of mental illness begin to pull at the seams of the life they have built. Forcing them to confront what it truly means to know someone, to break, and to begin again.

What’s Your Number? explores the real nature of Human connection and the best and worst of the human condition. It provokes the questions of ‘What kind of loving relationships can young people hope to cobble together in turbulent circumstances ?’ and ‘What is the true meaning of home ?

What’s your number ?’ is the question Shae and Misneach ask each other every day. One to ten. A silent code between best friends — how are you really doing, truly?

From tranquil coastlines to the chaos of the Big Apple, the series illustrates the honest, often unanswerable numbers of a generation raised to perform happiness.
